Thursday July 29, 2010, join us at the Paradise Theater, 215 Grand Ave., in Paonia.  The monks of Drepung Loseling Monastery will perform a Lama Chopa ceremony to invoke the blessings of the enlightened masters for individual, communal, and environmental healing. The ceremony involves chants, traditional musical instruments and various offerings of light, food and flowers. Participants usually bring personal offerings of cakes, cookies, fruits and flowers, which are blessed during the ceremony and then shared with others afterward.
